A shared goal: to develop mobility

Make hiking accessible to everyone

The Fédération Française Handisport (FFH) and Mouvly by Janton have joined forces to democratise hiking for people with reduced mobility. This partnership highlights innovative equipment such as the Trace Rando.

A committed partnership

Training and awareness-raising sessions are organised to promote the use of the Trace Rando. These training courses enable committees and clubs to discover and try out this equipment, thus enabling athletes with a disability to do their sport in a self-reliant and secure way.

The goal is to multiply outdoor activities and encourage a regular offering all year round. “We provide training for committees and raise their awareness regarding Trace Rando. This consists of accompanying them on their first outings, and giving a demonstration so they will then feel free to organise activities themselves,” explains Emmanuel Buchoud.

The partnership between the Fédération Française Handisport and Mouvly is a major step forwards to a more inclusive approach to sports. Thanks to innovations such as Trace Rando, hiking becomes an activity that’s accessible to everyone, thus strengthening self-reliance and the joy of doing outdoor sports for people with a disability.
